Telegram puts the last nail in the coffin of TON, ending the distribution of Gram

Telegram withdrew its appeal against a U.S. federal court order freezing the issuance and distribution of Gram tokens, according to court documents dated May 22.

The measure appears to suggest that the company has completely abandoned its plans to run TON. Earlier this month, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov announced that his „active participation“ in the project had ended, criticizing U.S. regulators for extending their power too far.
